The 2nd Portion of Any Session

MEDITATION

Each meeting will have a 10-minute lot of time that is devoted to the practice of sitting silently in meditation. I am an ongoing developer of my own meditation practices, so in admitting this, I am admitting that this will be a feat for us both as we venture into the positive outcomes that will start to stem from this important practice.

In a class, I once heard, “If a person cannot sit with themselves in silence for an elongation period of 10 minutes, then this would mean that ‘your ego is in control,’ which is a bad thing for your soul's wellness.”

As of right now, I do know that meditation practices have moved me forward in a positive manner, unsure of the deep inner wisdom of how it did. I have now become a person chasing after a life-fulfilling goal as of today, and I think that meditation was a big part of this action-taking confidence. First, I never even realized that ‘coloring’ was an act of meditation until I read it to be so on the covers of ‘Adult Coloring Books.’ I lived way out in the ‘Boonies’ so this was new knowledge to me. It is so cool though, because although it was certified knowledge that was confirmed, it had been old actions that I had been engaging in earlier on for healing. Since I had been coloring on my own accord, you could say that it was a Divinely Led Action gestured-in by my own intuitive movement. My rationality is that a form meditation is the first 'handshake,’ so to speak, with the Divine. As of right now, I have noticed for myself that when I started to meditate intentionally within 5-10 minutes of silent sessions of meditation, I am more-and-more witnessing a sort of ‘tap-in’ inwards for myself, then a saying of “Hello” within my higher-self among a spiritual plain. Don’t quote me on that though; however, meditation practice was a thing that only added good to my world, personally.

Things started to become clearer to me in the ways of making important decisions. I had started to move further into success. Those moves were what have gotten me right here right now. These moves were made after I started to meditate in silence with myself at some point every day.

As the activityist that plans to lend her high vibing energy towards the happiness levels of those around her, I also believe that the energy of gathered groups can set an intention of energy, which is also why I require a 10-minute meditation practice each meeting. This common practice will always take the position of '2nd block' of time that will be engaged in within every meeting curriculum. It will always be the action taken before the hands-on action that we will be enjoying that day. We will be developing the practice of foreseeing a positive outcome through silent meditation so as to add the positive vibes to our projects beforehand and to set the tone of a vibrant mood before our community output works and efforts. As both the teacher and the student, we as a group will be learning what meditation can do properly within our lives at this juncture of our wellness pursuit and future.
